WELCOME

Welcome to the student manual for some the different platforms of learning that you will use in the University of Georgia’s Instructional Design and Development(IDD) program. Have you heard the term learning platforms before? If not, then this E-book will familiarize you with the different platforms that the IDD program uses to deliver learning. A learning platform is defined as is “an integrated set of interactive online services that provide teachers, learners, parents and others involved in education with information, tools and resources to support and enhance educational delivery and management”.(e-literate site)* So, when you finish this course you will be able to:

• Utilize the information in the E-book training manual to participate in the different online learning platforms at UGA
• Apply troubleshooting techniques to use the various learning platforms used at UGA for teaching online courses.
